Conditions:

The guarantee for new vehicles is provided free of charge and is transferable under the sole condition that the vehicle in question has received a complete treatment in a Metropolitan Rust Proofing Inc. treatment centre every year without fail, within the twelve month period following the previous treatment.

The rust-protection guarantee is applicable on rust developing from the interior towards the exterior only. The areas treated by Metropolitan Rust Proofing and covered by the guarantee are as follows: the underside of the vehicle, the wheel wells, the bumpers, the front and rear fenders, the doors, the front and rear hoods.

The guarantee is for the cost of repair only. Only the affected area will be repaired, i.e. if rust appears on a door, fender or any other area covered by the treatment, only the door, fender or other affected area will be repaired and repainted at our expense. All treatment invoices are required as proof in the event of a claim. The client must obtain written authorisation from Metropolitan Rust Proofing Inc. before proceeding with the repair.

Transferable Guarantee:

If the treated vehicle is sold, the guarantee described herein may be transferred to the new owner. To complete the transfer, the new owner must present this certificate to Antirouille Métropolitan inc. or Metropolitan Rust Proofing Inc. in order for the guarantee to remain in effect. The same conditions and exclusions will apply to the new owner.

Exclusions:

This guarantee does not apply to rust forming from the exterior towards the interior of the vehicle, i.e. from the side opposite the one that was treated. Nor does the guarantee apply to areas damaged by an accident, scratches or act of vandalism. Damages caused by external parts such as mouldings and spoilers are not covered by the guarantee. Additionally, the roof posts, roof, door posts, paint, gas tank, gas lines, brake lines and muffler system, which do not provide access for product application, are not included in the guarantee.

Non-Transferable Guaranty:

This guarantee is personal. If the vehicle is sold, the guarantee may not be transferred to the subsequent owner.
